Overall I remain impressed with this projector for the price. I was curious to know if Kodi would run on it not knowing if I could jail break it or not. It was simply a matter of downloading Kodi via the downloader app I installed and installing kodi and then configuring with the skin of choice. After installing Kodi I then uninstalled the downloader app to allow for more disk space.
In general Kodi (21.1), my VPN (Cyberghost) with Real-Debrid seem to work fine on the projector at a 102" screen.
Other features that are nice is the auto key-stoning. Works great and responds to any repositioning of the projector if you point it at another wall or move it back for a larger picture.
The electronic focus seems to work fine for me and the image is crisp (considering it's 1080p) and bright. Not sure what other people were complaining about regarding the focus.
The Android 11 TV OS seems to already be jailbroken as I did not have to put the projector in debugging mode nor did I have to give permissions to allow apps not vetted in google play so the install was super simple.
I ordered 2 of these hoping this Kodi result would be the case and got lucky. For a projector under $60 how could it be beat? Super transportable and even comes with a pos tripod but it all works. The remote is not the best but you can set your phone up as a remote with the eshare app so no biggy. The remote does have an airmouse option which is nice.
When first fired up the projector brightness is set to 50% be default so don't freak if you thought it might be brighter. Increase brightness in the settings and all is good.
Hope this helps someone. Oh, one last note. Use the original Downloader app, not the Downloader for TV app.
