Remember those temperatures in the 50s last weekend?
Hang on to those memories.
So you’ll want to say goodbye to the cold again/warm again trend of the last several months.
AccuWeather doesn’t forecast a high temperature above freezing again in Canton until January 22.
AccuWeather Senior Meteorologist Bob Larson says the good news is that there are no major storm producers over the next week or so, though the clipper system moving through on Friday could drop a few inches.
And of course forecasts are subject to change.
Bob is watching a storm developing Sunday night into Monday that could drop 1 to 3 inches here.
That one is a bigger snowmaker for southern Ohio.
Bob doesn’t expect any low temperature records to be broken, despite the cold.
Get ready to bundle up, because AccuWeather is predicting teeth-chattering temperatures for the next few weeks! As winter settles in, cold fronts are expected to bring frigid air and below-average temperatures to many areas across the country.
Make sure to stock up on hats, gloves, and scarves, because you’re going to need them to stay warm in the chilly weather ahead. And don’t forget to check your heating system to ensure it’s in good working order to keep your home cozy during the cold snap.
Stay tuned to AccuWeather for the latest updates on the winter weather forecast, and stay safe and warm as you navigate the icy conditions. Winter is here, and it’s not messing around!
