Ashton Jeanty wins Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award, becomes Boise State’s first recipient


Ashton Jeanty added another award to his list of accolades for the 2024 season.

Jeanty was awarded the Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award, this award is given each year to the nation’s most outstanding Division One offensive player who graduated from a Texas high school or plays at a four-year college in Texas. Jeanty graduated from Lone Star High School in Frisco, Texas before heading to Boise State.

Jeanty ran for 2,601 yards during the 2024 season, he finished his career at Boise State with a school record in rushing yards with 4,769 yards.

Jeanty became the program’s first unanimous All-American and is also the first Bronco to receive the Maxwell Award and the Doak Walker Award. Jeanty also earned All-Mountain West first-team honors and was the Mountain Wst Player of the Year for the second year.

Jeanty is the first Boise State player to receive the Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award and the 12th player to ever receive the award. He is also only the fourth running back to win the award.

Jeanty has officially announced that he is declaring for the 2025 NFL Draft.
