I've had many projectors, but I think this one is the best to date. We took this unit with us RV'ing since it's built for outdoor use and it worked beautifully using a white bed sheet hung against the side of the RV!
Super easy to setup and use out of the box. As noted it supports native 1080P Full HD resolution, however also 4K compatible so it will scale. I really like the auto focus feature and the auto keystone, again making setup easy every time! This projector happens to have a built-in subwoofer, and the audio is really quite good, the unit itself is petty quiet.
This projector requires an external stream source, so using ANY personal device being a computer, phone, tablet or USB thumbdrive is supported. Wireless connectivity via Bluetooth or WiFi (WiFi 6!) is simple, or hardwired via HDMI you will get great video quality. The video I posted is during the day with blinds closed and without a completely white background, and I am impressed with the clarity against a not-fully white wall…
All in all I really like this projector, great quality componentry, sleek build and ease of use – can't go wrong with the DBPOWER S5, the value is there so get one you won't be sorry.

How Did They Pack ALL These Features Into This Small Box? AWESOME!

When I saw the size of this 4K, 1080p projector I wondered if it really had all the features claimed by the description. Answer: Oh yes, it does!
Set-up is a snap! My last projector was a bear to set up, having to make adjustments repeatedly to get correct screen size, focus, color, sound etc. But this DBPower projector does it all for you! Just power it up and let it do its thing. Auto-focus and auto-keystone correction work like a dream. Even if someone accidentally jars the projector or moves it a bit, the auto-focus immediately corrects the picture, both focus and screen size!
With many ways to connect, this projector offers more than ample connectivity including: 5G+2.4G Dual Band Wi-Fi 6, (provides speeds of up to 9.6 Gbps, ensuring smoother and more reliable streaming), Bi-directional (two-way) Bluetooth 5.2, AV, 2X USB, 2X HDMI (CEC Supported), TV Stick, Smartphone, & Laptop.
My old projector claimed to offer the same 900 ANSI lumens but this DBPower projector is a lot brighter with much more saturated color and enhanced clarity of image. The picture is, in a word, phenomenal.
I was most surprised by the sound quality. I did not expect the projector’s on-board speaker system, (10W dual Hi-Fi speakers and a 3D Bass cavity diaphragm), to have any worthwhile sound quality. WRONG! The sound is rich, deep, and pure and clean. If you need even more, you can add Bluetooth speakers quite easily!
My neighbor, who is an engineer, was very impressed that this projector offers a sealed optical engine and dual-fan cooling system, ensuring superior dust protection and ultra-quiet 30dB operation for a longer lifespan compared to open optical engines. He says this projector may last forever!
I am extremely happy with this feature-packed DBPower projector and the low price-point is the cherry on top!

I was highly impressed with the quality of this projector both in picture and sound quality. The picture is bright, with high contrast to be seen in any level of lighting. The picture is able to auto focus, maintaining every detail in crisp focus. I can put the projector at any angle and correct the image to square up the corners. I can also zoom in or out a bit depending on need for best fit to my screen. If the projector gets moved or nudged a bit, it will always snap back into focus in seconds. In addition to the picture, the onboard speaker is excellent. Very full and rich, which I was not expecting. I can easily get away with just the speaker on the projector when casting sports or movies outside. If I want more of a surround effect that can be done with the HDMI, auxiliary or bluetooth connections if needed. This projector is enough on its own for me though. While it doesn’t have onboard apps, they really aren’t necessary. It is easy to either use a streaming stick, or just screen cast from a phone or tablet. I tried both the android and ios screen casting out and both work just fine. Really a user friendly projector. A nice size for taking anywhere as well.
