Fans of ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3‘ have even more to celebrate as the Kartik Aaryan-starrer prepares for its OTT release. After a successful theatrical run, the film will soon stream on OTT, having achieved box office success worldwide.
Netflix India recently announced the news via Instagram, sharing a quirky video featuring Kartik Aaryan. In the clip, the actor approaches the camera enthusiastically but is suddenly startled, leaving viewers intrigued. The post’s caption teased: “TUDUM: @kartikaaryan has an X-mas surprise for you! Coming soon.” ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ will premiere on OTT on December 27.

The film, directed by Anees Bazmee, brings together an ensemble cast, including Kartik Aaryan, Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit, and Triptii Dimri. Known for its blend of light-hearted comedy and nail-biting suspense, ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ builds on the franchise’s legacy. Despite receiving mixed reviews, the movie amassed a staggering Rs 400 crore at the domestic box office.
The movie was released at the same time as Ajay Devgn’s ‘Singham Again’. Director Anees Bazmee addressed the challenges both films faced, stating that releasing two big-budget projects simultaneously on Diwali had affected their performance.
“It was unfortunate for both films. With separate release dates, the collections would have been significantly better,” Bazmee said in a previous interview with Galatta Plus. “We had announced our date more than a year ago, and all our efforts went into completing the film in record time, starting in March and finishing for a November release.”
Bazmee also admitted that changing the release schedule was not a feasible option due to marketing campaigns being aligned with the festive period. Both films had valid reasons for aiming for a Diwali release.
