With the Big Ten regular season just about at its halfway point, Michigan State looks to be on pace for its first conference regular season title in four years.
In its lone game of the week, Tom Izzo’s seventh-ranked Spartans (17-2, 8-0 in Big Ten) kept alive their undefeated start to conference play with an 81-74 win over Rutgers at Madison Square Garden in New York. It’s the 12th consecutive win for Michigan State, and their best start in Big Ten play since 2018-2019.
