Cold front moving into the state bringing possible heavy rainfall
HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – A cold front will bring a brief round of showers and perhaps isolated thunderstorms early Wednesday morning into Thursday.
Showers along the frontal boundary may produce locally heavy rainfall with slight chance of thunderstorms.
These showers are expected to clear out quickly as moderate to locally breezy northwest winds fill in behind the front, ushering drier air and cooler temps.
Trades return briefly Friday into Saturday before they are disrupted again by another front approaching from the northwest.
A new advisory level northwest swell will slowly build through Wednesday.
A bigger northerly reinforcement is due on Thursday.
