BALTIMORE (WBFF) — Updated 7 a.m. January 20 — WEATHER ALERT Tuesday and Wednesday for extreme cold.
The coldest air of the season so far arrives early this week.
Monday is the start of a cold couple of days with highs in the low 20s and wind chills in the single digits as winds gust up to 25 mph.
A cold weather advisory is posted tonight through Tuesday morning due to wind chills close to 5 degrees below zero.
Tuesday and Wednesday are even colder with lows in the single digits and highs in the low 20s and upper teens. Feel-like temperatures will drop below zero at times making for dangerous conditions.
Temperatures finally improve starting Thursday with highs near freezing and then mid to upper 30s will follow Friday and Saturday. The low 40s return by Sunday.
