The new-look Colorado Avalanche made the first stop on a three-game Eastern Conference road trip on Saturday afternoon, falling 3-1 in Boston. Colorado runs into a Rangers team started to finally awaken from its slumber. New York is 7-0-3 in the past 10 games, and it has outscored Philadelphia and Ottawa 11-1 in the past two games.
