Erin Cuthbert is set to make her 250th Chelsea appearance as Sonia Bompastor makes three changes to the starting XI for this afternoon’s Women’s Super League clash against West Ham.
The Blues are in league action for the first time in 2025 at the Chigwell Construction Stadium, facing the Hammers.
A fourth-round FA Cup win against Charlton Athletic saw Bompastor’s side kickstart the second half of the season last weekend, extending our unbeaten run to 17 games, and we will be looking to continue that fine form upon our return to the WSL.
Introduced to the starting line-up from the win against Charlton are Sjoeke Nusken, Niamh Charles and Aggie Beever-Jones, with the latter two scoring after coming off the bench in last Sunday’s FA Cup clash.
Goalkeeper Hannah Hampton retains her place between the sticks and will be protected by a defence of Lucy Bronze, captain Millie Bright, Nathalie Bjorn and Charles. Nusken lines up alongside Cuthbert in midfield, who is making her 250th appearance for the Blues.
