What producers and consumers write down before a schema changes. Nothing on this page checks a pipeline or blocks a merge.

What to write down

• The dataset name, the owner, and the fields other people rely on.
• What "fresh" means, in hours, and who is told when it is late.
• Which dashboard or model a breaking change would affect. Name them. Do not guess a score.
• The data quality note for the checks a person already runs.
