COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) – A top-tier weekend is ahead for Gamecock great A’ja Wilson.
South Carolina is retiring Wilson’s jersey before the women’s team faces off against Auburn this Sunday.
On Saturday, the four-time all-American, three-time SEC Player of the Year, and three-time WNBA MVP will be honored during a special event at the Columbia Museum of Art.
Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. with the program beginning at 6 p.m.
The event, hosted by coach Dawn Staley, will feature exclusive access, an audience Q&A, food, and an open bar. General admission tickets are $100 while VIP early access tickets are $500 and include a photo op and meet & greet.

Today, we celebrate the incredible career of A’ja Wilson as her jersey is set to be retired by the University of South Carolina. Head coach Dawn Staley took to social media to express her admiration and gratitude for Wilson’s contributions to the program.
