There’s a good chance the Miami Dolphins will be without their starting quarterback in Week 17.
Tua Tagovailoa (hip) is being downgraded to doubtful for Sunday’s game against the Cleveland Browns, NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero reported on Saturday, per sources. The Dolphins QB was initially deemed questionable to play on Friday’s injury report.
In the event of Tagovailoa being unable to play, backup Tyler Huntley would be slated to start in a crucial game where only a win will keep Miami’s playoff hopes alive.
The Dolphins also elevated Skylar Thompson to the active roster from the practice squad on Saturday.
