Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill (wrist) expected to play versus Browns, while WR Jaylen Waddle (knee) unlikely to play

It’s good news and bad news for the Dolphins’ WR corps.

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill (wrist) should be able to play in Sunday’s game versus the Cleveland Browns, while wide receiver Jaylen Waddle (knee) is unlikely to be available, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported.

Hill has been battling the wrist injury, which he has said will likely require surgery after the season, for most of the year. However, he has not yet missed a game due to the ailment, and should be available this week again despite being limited at all three practices.

Meanwhile, Waddle is expected to miss his second straight game after injuring his knee in Week 15, the first games he’s missed this year. He did not practice Wednesday but was upgraded to limited participation the next few days, though it appears he was not able to get to a point of getting on the field.

This is the latest frustrating injury news for Miami, which on Saturday announced that quarterback Tua Tagovailoa was downgraded to a doubtful game designation due to a hip injury.

The Dolphins are hanging on to a slim playoff chance heading into Sunday’s game in Cleveland, currently holding a 10 percent chance of making it in with two games to go. Needing this win to keep the hope going, the Dolphins will likely have to do so without at least one major player, though another star should be on the field.

The Dolphins and Browns kick off at 4:05 p.m. ET.

The Miami Dolphins are gearing up for a crucial matchup against the Cleveland Browns, and it looks like they may have one key weapon back in their arsenal. Wide receiver Tyreek Hill, who has been dealing with a wrist injury, is expected to suit up for the game. Hill’s explosive speed and playmaking ability could provide a much-needed boost to the Dolphins’ offense.

However, it’s not all good news for Miami’s receiving corps. Rookie sensation Jaylen Waddle is dealing with a knee injury and is unlikely to play against the Browns. Waddle has been a reliable target for quarterback Tua Tagovailoa this season, so his absence will be felt on the field.

Despite the potential setback of Waddle being sidelined, the Dolphins will look to Hill and the rest of their receiving corps to step up and make plays in a critical game with playoff implications. Stay tuned for updates on the status of both Hill and Waddle as game day approaches.
