Don Lemon has once again slammed supporters of Donald Trump – this time over outrage with his pick of an Indian-American man for policy advisor on artificial intelligence (AI).
Lemon, 58, made the remarks Friday during a particularly foul-mouthed livestream on his personal YouTube page.
Full of f-bombs and cackles, the fired CNN star’s rant saw him first claim Trump voters were all ‘f**king stupid’ – after they pushed back on the president-elect’s appointment of Shiram Krishnan.
‘You dumb f**king idiots, now you’re just figuring this s**t out,’ he went on to quip – seemingly relishing in the ongoing outcry from conservatives over Krishnan’s advocacy for immigration and desire to remove current restrictions on green cards.
‘You’re so f***ing stupid and you deserve it,’ Lemon said, breaking out into laughter at several points.
‘You f**king deserve it ’cause you’re so dumb,’ he continued, claiming conservatives who disagreed with him politically were part of a ‘cult.’
‘You have been co-opted ’cause you’re in a f**king cult and you don’t even realize it,’ he said, days after taking to the street to ask New York City residents a series of loaded, leading questions about Elon Musk‘s influence over the president-elect.
‘How stupid and dumb are you?’

Lemon, 58, made the remarks Friday in response to the president-elect’s appointment of Shiram Krishnan – and the conservative backlash that followed
In 2022, Krishnan, 40, announced that he was working with Elon Musk on the rebuilding of Twitter – now X – following Musk’s $44billion acquisition, with the former Facebook and Microsoft staffer reportedly among those floated as a potential CEO.
On December 22 – mere minutes after being named Trump’s incoming senior policy advisor on all things AI, Musk, a 53-year-old US citizen born in South African, personally congratulated the tech entrepreneur.
‘Congratulations!’ Musk, also tapped to hold a position in Trump’s administration, tweeted in reply to a post from Krishnan confirming the appointment.
‘Thank you Elon,’ the coder-turned-venture capitalist wrote in reply. ‘Excited for what this administration can accomplish for America.’
As for Lemon – nearly two years removed from his sudden firing from CNN after more than 17 years – he claimed those surprised by the new development were simply suffering from ‘stupid MAGA brain.’
‘You don’t get it,’ he proceeded to tell viewers, as his stream racked up a little over 50,000 views.
The video, meanwhile, was titled MAGA Civil War – and was accompanied with a misleading caption that claimed ‘MAGA [was] turning against Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy’ because of their disapproval.
‘Will this lead to a divide in the party?’ Lemon, whose own firing came weeks after he was put paid leave for offensive comments about women made on the air to his female co-stars. ‘Will Musk and Ramaswamy be ousted?’

Late last month, Krishnan, a partner at Silicon Valley based Andreessen Horowitz, raised eyebrows when he announced was leaving the VC firm at the end of the year.
As for why, the founding member of Microsoft’s Windows Azure team did not say – but did offer some clues that saw some claim he was set to join Musk and Vivek at newly created Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
‘What’s next? I’ll have more on that in a bit but it’s obvious we are living through a unique moment in history,’ Krishnan, who has held roles within Big Tech companies like Snap as well, wrote in the cryptic post.
‘I’m going to be jumping all into something I’ve wanted to spend my energy on. More on that in the coming months.’
Reports immediately emerged claiming the talks surrounded Musk and Ramaswamy’s prospective plans to streamline the government.
Earlier in the month, Krishnan, who immigrated to the US when he was 21, tweeted the need to remove country caps for green cards, saying it it limiting the influx of skilled tech workers from countries like India.
Shortly thereafter, Musk tweeted out in support for this notion, calling the current cap – seven percent per country – ‘racist’.
This spawned some discord within the MAGA group – something Lemon appeared to relish in during his broadcast.

Others, like far-right activist Laura Loomer, called the Indian-American entrepreneur’s appointment ‘deeply disturbing’, accusing Krishnan of not holding an ‘America First’ ideology.
‘Deeply disturbing to see the appointment of Sriram Krishnan @sriramk as Senior Policy Advisor for AI at the Office of Science and Technology Policy.
‘It’s alarming to see the number of career leftists who are now being appointed to serve in Trump’s admin when they share views that are in direct opposition to Trump’s America First agenda.’
Her comments, aside from honing in on the Indian-American’s advocacy for legal immigration, appeared to reference the litany of Silicon Valley leaders linked to Doge by insiders, including Palantir cofounder Joe Lonsdale and hedge-funder Bill Ackman.
Former Uber CEO Travis Kalanick and the cofounder of Krishnan’s firm, Marc Andreessen, are also part of the party laying the groundwork for the federal government startup, The Washington Post reported.
Some have suggested the burgeoning Trump-techie alliance proves as evidence that figures are now aligning with the conservative to reap the financial benefits once he takes office.
Others, meanwhile, have resorted to racist vitriol when it came to expressing disdain over Trump’s newest pick, with one tweet that’s amassed 2.3million views at the time of writing containing a doctored image portraying Krishnan’s face as a plate of butter chicken.
‘Here is what Sriram Krishnan would look like if he was butter chicken,’ the widely seen tweet read.

Another further accused him of being ‘India first’ while suggesting his goal was to replace American workers with Indians.
‘No matter what Sriram Krishnan says, he is INDIA First. No matter what the people around him say.
‘Their only goal is to import more Indians to REPLACE American Workers.’
Lemon, meanwhile, has yet to sign with a new network following his lengthy stint with CNN.
Musk, in March, canceled Lemon’s then- new show on his website X, after an off-the rails interview where a visibly irritated Musk batted back strongly worded questions about free speech and white nationalist conspiracy theories.
In it, Lemon is seen asking Musk – who since taking the reins of the site has touted a desire for a platform with zero censorship – about hate speech and The Great Replacement Theory.
‘Hate speech ‘On the platform,’ Lemon began, seated opposite Musk. ‘[It’s] up.’
‘Do you believe that X and you have some responsibility to moderate hate speech on the platform, [and] that you wouldn’t have to answer these questions from reporters about The Great Replacement Theory as it released-‘

Musk immediately cut his host off.
‘I don’t have to – I don’t have to answer questions from reporters,’ he insisted, growing visibly irate.

In a recent segment on CNN, Don Lemon couldn’t contain his laughter as he mockingly imitated “stupid” Trump supporters. In a fit of maniacal laughter, Lemon dropped four f-bombs as he ridiculed those who continue to support the former president.
Lemon’s outburst has sparked backlash from viewers and critics alike, with many calling his behavior unprofessional and disrespectful. Some have accused him of further dividing an already polarized political landscape with his inflammatory rhetoric.
While Lemon is known for his outspoken commentary and criticism of the Trump administration, this latest outburst has raised questions about the line between opinion and incitement. As a public figure and journalist, Lemon’s words carry weight and influence, and his actions in this segment have left many wondering if he crossed a line.
Regardless of one’s political beliefs, it’s clear that civility and respect should be upheld in public discourse. Mocking and belittling those with differing viewpoints only serves to deepen the divide and hinder productive dialogue. As we navigate a complex and divided political landscape, it’s important to remember the power of words and the impact they can have on shaping public opinion.
