Dynamic Pittsburgh Steelers running back suffers new injury

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Jaylen Warren popped up on Tuesday’s injury report with injuries to his ribs. He was a limited participant, and head coachbigger-bodied stated that Warren would be limited early in the week but should play against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Warren’s injury happened at some point against the Kansas City Chiefs when he had 40 snaps over the course of the game. That included 16 touches and multiple other reps where Warren was in pass protection against bigger-bodied players.

Warren has dealt with multiple injuries this season. He strained his hamstring in the preseason but recovered in time to play in Week 1. Yet, he was clearly not healthy. Against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 3, Warren suffered a PCL sprain that would keep him out for two weeks.

Now, Warren is finally turning the corner and is healthy, which has increased his snap count significantly. Over the last four weeks, Warren has outsnapped Najee Harris in all four games, and it seems that he is starting to take the starter workload.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are facing yet another setback as dynamic running back, Najee Harris, has suffered a new injury. Harris, who has been a key player for the Steelers this season, was seen limping off the field during practice yesterday.

The extent of Harris’s injury is still unknown, but it is a concerning development for the Steelers as they prepare for a crucial stretch of games. Harris has been a workhorse for the team, leading the Steelers in rushing yards and touchdowns.

The Steelers will have to turn to their other running backs to pick up the slack in Harris’s absence. Benny Snell Jr. and Kalen Ballage will likely see increased playing time as they try to fill the void left by Harris.

Fans will be anxiously awaiting updates on Harris’s injury and hoping for a speedy recovery. In the meantime, the Steelers will have to adjust their game plan and find a way to keep their playoff hopes alive without their dynamic running back.
