This is a nice on-board camera well suited to projects with microcontrollers like the Raspberry Pi or Arduino boards. This is a pretty efficient little on PCB camera. I plan to integrate this with a controller and amateur radio to transmit images back down to Earth from kites or a high altitude balloon. It's nice that the USB cable interface has a detachable connector to make it easier to connect non USB serial connections to it.

The resolution is quite good for this size and price of camera. Focus seems all right although I will probably just be using it set at infinity. Pretty excited to put this little cam to work!

I don't do reviews often, but this one is warranted. There's very little info out there about field of view (FOV) in relation to distance from an object that's easily understood. Well…understand this…this is exactly what you need to have your laser door closed while seeing the entire work bed. Mine is 50" x 70" and the pic show all 70 inches in view from 6 inches away! This says it all.

This view is right out of the box. No settings dialed in. Instant excellent video and instantly pulled into Lightburn. Problem solved!
