EmRata’s red thongkini is basically just thin strips of fabric

Emily Ratajkowski is queen of the bikini picture, IMO. Whenever she’s wearing her beach attire – on holiday, at home celebrating her birthday, or even walking down the street in New York – she’ll make sure to snap a pic to share to the ‘gram. And we love her for it. Endless summer swimwear inspo? Yes, please!

With not so much as a sniff of a bikini pic from the model, actress, author and founder of Inamorata swimwear throughout the first few weeks of 2025 though (despite similar photos shared by the likes of Bella Hadid, Syndey Sweeney, Jennifer Lopez, Anitta and Rita Ora) we must admit, we were worried her bikini pic crown was slipping. Luckily, EmRata came through for us over the weekend, sharing a video of herself alongside American comedian Ziwe Fumudoh dancing poolside in Mexico. And yep, she’s still got it.

Forget extravagant straps or eye-catching prints, EmRata kept things simple in a classic red two-piece. But the design was attention-grabbing in its own right as it was a teeny tiny micro bikini. Her adjustable triangle top was styled so it was just thin strips of fabric covering her nipples and she paired it with low-rise minuscule thong bottoms.

She accessorised the swimwear with a gold collar necklace and a coordinating chunky gold ring. In the clip, EmRata could be seen sipping a piña colada through a pineapple-adorned straw as she took the opportunity to show off every angle of her red hot thongkini.

Posting the clip to both Instagram and TikTok, Emily wrote over the top of the video “escaped to mexico just for Tik Tok” referencing the one-day ban that came into effect in the US. While the future of TikTok’s ability to operate State-side remains unclear, it seems it won’t stop EmRata posting bikini pics and we for one are pleased to hear it.
