Falcon 9 launch from Vandenberg Space Force Base scheduled for early Friday morning


VANDENBERG SPACE FORCE BASE, Calif. – A Falcon 9 launch carrying 23 Starlink satellites destined for low-Earth orbit is currently scheduled for Friday, Jan. 24, starting at 6:07 a.m. and lasting until 9:29 a.m.

According to SpaceX, a backup launch window has been designated for Saturday, Jan. 25 beginning at 6:08 a.m.

After first stage separation, the booster assigned to this mission will return to Earth to land on the Of Course I Still Love You drone ship awaiting in the Pacific Ocean added SpaceX.

A live webcast of the launch will begin about five minutes before liftoff and can be watched here.

This will be the 23rd flight for the Falcon 9 booster assigned to this mission which previously launched the following missions: Sentinel-6 Michael FreilichDARTSDA-0BIridium OneWebTransporter-7NROL-113NROL-167, NROL-149 and 14 Starlink deliveries.
