Firefighters called twice to same home in Pittsburgh’s Carrick neighborhood on Tuesday morning

A fire at a home in Pittsburgh’s Carrick neighborhood appeared to rekindle on Tuesday morning.The fire was first reported a little after 1:15 a.m. Tuesday at a home on West Cherryhill Street.Crews were able to knock down that fire.However, a little before 5:30 a.m., firefighters were called back to the scene for an apparent rekindle.No injuries were reported.

In a bizarre turn of events, firefighters were called not once, but twice to the same home in Pittsburgh’s Carrick neighborhood on Tuesday morning. The first call came in around 4:00 am, reporting a small kitchen fire that was quickly extinguished by the responding firefighters.
