Forza Horizon 5 is the next Xbox exclusive heading to PS5

Forza Horizon 5 is heading to PS5, Playground Games has confirmed. If you’re done with the Forza Horizon 5 achievements and want to work through the list again, you’ll be able to do so on PS5 with PlayStation trophies. A release date hasn’t been announced, but PS5 players can expect the Xbox racing game to launch sometime in the spring.

• Forza Horizon 5 launches for PS5 sometime in spring 2025.

“The Horizon Festival welcomes a new community of players,” Playground Games said in a blog post. “With nearly 900 cars available in the game, over 40 thematic game updates, two expansions, and so much more content, our team is excited to announce that this spring, PlayStation 5 players will be able to explore Mexico’s beautiful roads and experience the Horizon Festival for the first time as we are officially launching Forza Horizon 5 on PS5.”According to Playground, the PS5 version is being developed by Panic Button in partnership with Turn 10 Studios and Playground Games. The PS5 port will feature the same contents as the Xbox version of the game, and the expansions, Hot Wheels and Rally Adventure, will be available to purchase alongside all previously released car packs.

On top of this, Playground says it is working on a “special new free content update for all platforms” called Horizon Realms. Realms will “give players the chance to explore a curated collection of some of the community’s favorite previously released Evolving Worlds, alongside some other surprises.”
