Gutfeld’s Preempted Inauguration Episode Will Air Tonight

Although fans tuning to watch Greg Gutfeld’s promised post-inauguration episode from Washington D.C last night were disappointed when the show was preempted, Fox News says the episode will air tonight instead.

With President Trump attending various inaugural balls late into the night, Fox News brass apparently made the decision to stick with coverage of the night’s festivities, airing a special two-hour live broadcast of Hannity from 9pm-11pm ET, followed by Fox News @ Night from 11pm-1am.

Both the network and Gutfeld himself announced the preemption around 9:35pm ET, with the popular host posting to Twitter/X “Hey all @Gutfeldfox is getting bumped tonight and will air tomorrow. Don’t yell at me kids. Not my call.”

The show was taped yesterday at Daughters of the Revolution Constitution Hall in front of a live studio audience. Though not the first time Gutfeld has taken his show on the road, the 3700-seat DAR Hall saw the host and his panel perform before their largest in-person audience ever.

Gutfeld’s panelists for the special episode were Kat Timpf, Kennedy, Walter Kirn, and Tyrus.

As we’ve reported, both Gutfeld! the show and Gutfeld the man are coming off a huge year.

According to Nielsen live-plus-same day data, the show grew its audience by more than a third over the last twelve months. Gutfeld! now draws the most total viewers across all of cable TV at 10pm ET, and is the highest rated show across all of cable news among viewers 25-54.

And in November, the 60 year-old host and his wife Elena Moussa welcomed a baby girl. The child, whom they revealed is named Mira, is the couple’s first.

“If you are shocked at me having a brat at 60, imagine how I feel,” the host joked upon his return from paternity leave earlier this week. “When my wife–my wife told me she was pregnant, mine was the first diaper she had to change.”

The special inauguration episode of Gutfeld! airs on Fox News tonight, January 21st at 10pm ET/7pm PT.
