Hansi Flick says ‘it won’t be easy against Valencia’
There is no time to lose in the league for Barça after a run of disappointing recent results. The blaugranes have slipped to third in the table behind Atlético Madrid and leaders Real Madrid and Hansi Flick’s team cannot afford to drop many more points, starting with the visit of Valencia on Sunday in La Liga.
In his pre-game press conference on Saturday, Barça coach Hansi Flick cast his eye over his team’s next opponents: “Valencia have improved a lot in defence and they know what they are doing. We have to create chances and it will not be easy. It’s really important to win every and that’s the attitude we have going out on the field.” Flick will be hoping his team can carry over their impressive form this month in other competitions after the Super Cup final win over Real Madrid and the recent comeback victory in Lisbon against Benfica in the Champions League.
“It may seem that in the league we have not been at 100%, and that is something we have to change and be switched on from the start,” said Flick. The German coach refused to give any clues about his starting line up for the game in the Estadi Olímpic, Barça’s first home league game of 2025.
This week there has been good news for Hansi Flick with both Ronald Araujo and Gerard Martín agreeing new contracts. “The Club and Deco are doing a great job. We are looking for new players but the most important thing is to talk with the ones we have, they are really important and that is what we are doing. I really like the way that Deco manages the squad,” concluded Flick.
Hansi Flick, the head coach of Bayern Munich, has acknowledged the tough task ahead as his team prepares to face Valencia in the Champions League.
In a recent press conference, Flick stated, “Valencia is a strong team with quality players and they will certainly pose a challenge for us. It won’t be easy against them, but we are ready for the battle.”
With Bayern Munich aiming to defend their Champions League title, Flick and his players are fully aware of the importance of every match in the competition. The coach emphasized the need for focus and determination in order to come out on top against Valencia.
As the match draws near, fans can expect an intense and competitive encounter between these two top European clubs. Bayern Munich will look to showcase their strength and skill, while Valencia will be eager to make a statement with a strong performance.
It’s clear that Flick and his team are not underestimating their opponents and are fully prepared to give it their all on the pitch. The upcoming match promises to be a thrilling spectacle for football fans around the world.
