Would be great if not for artifacts in the image
First of all, since Amazon has the reviews for this projector aggregated with another projector (a white one with a screen), let me specify that this is for the the square BLACK one. I attached a photo just for clarity about that. As far as the projector goes, I was very happily surprised when I got this. I have had 3 projectors before this. An Axxa pico and 2 large Vankyos. They have all been awesome, each having a couple compromises, as should be expected. I still use the Vankyos, but they are pretty big and not very portable. I was pleased with the image size, clarity and brightness of this projector, for its size, and the simplicity of use. I just wanted a plug and play device, running any smart functions from an HDMI device, since the built in "smart" features of these things never work well. Using a Fire Stick or laptop via HDMI has been fine. Fire sticks wireless mirroring pretty much never works with anything (for reasons that elude me), but Chromecast and Roku both do. The only thing I hated not having was any type of keystone, but, for the price, I decided to deal with it. You have to take care with placement do to no keystone, but the image can be reduced up to 75%, which is useful, becase it can actually produce a huge image from a pretty short distance. The picture was very nice, clear and bright for the size and the sound is…fine, about average for these. I always use an external speaker with all my projectors, but this is fine for a room, if you don't want to. We just paired this one with the Amazon dot in the room, which has been fine. Overall, I was so impressed with this thing that I almost ordered a couple more as gifts and considered another for myself (Its portable enough to carry with you and run Xbox game pass through the laptop and play on a second screen with a buddy in the room or run 2 football games, etc…). The problem, as you can see from the images I attached, is that we started noticing splotchy black marks appearing on the projected image. I noticed them first and thought the lens just needed to be cleaned, so I did that, but it didn't change. Then my girlfriend asked if I had noticed the splotches. Yep, I said. She tried cleaning it as well. Guess when the return window closed?? Yeah, just before we noticed them. After some research, it appears that there is an internal part, called a polarizer, that can discolor and a fresnel lens, which, in these cheaper projectors is made of plastic instead of glass and they cant take the heat, literally. It has never produced much noticeable heat, but, apparently, enough to cause this problem. So, after a bit over a month of use, it looks like the images I posted and it is only going to get worse. It is watchable, for now, but also noticeable and pretty off-putting, so I am going to have to replace this with something else. Also discouraging, while I was doing research, was the user who posted that he had had this issue with 3 Happrun projectors in a row, so, that's definitely something to consider. I am quite disappointed to go from being so impressed to being so disappointed, but that's how it goes, sometime. Hopefully, this will save someone the same trouble. Would've been 5 stars, considering the price, but I cant give it more than 2, seeing as it only lasted a month before this happened. It should probably be 1, since I'm going to have to throw it out. Its a shame.

    I was surprised how clear the and sharp the picture is for 720p and the sound is actually pretty good.
    Although I am using it as a replacement for a medium sized tv so the distance from the screen isn't as
    far as one would probably use it. It's a great deal for what I paid for it, it is a basic bare bones projector
    but has bluetooth that comes in handy, but the lack of external controls could be a problem if you don't
    have battery's for the remote. The projector does put out quite a bit of heat for it's size and it's fan noise
    is not to noticeable but its there. All in all a great little unit!

    I gave this one a 3 due to not realizing the struggle ot was going to be upon the excitement of getting a projector to watch outside with the family on those calm summer nights. The kids and I set it up only to realize I, the mom, failed to realize I didn't order an attachment cable that was necessary to connect it. I have a Samsung Galaxy S23 ultra and the kids use Iphones. It needs access to an hdmi cord that connects straight to your phone or laptop. If using just a laptop with hdmi. No problem. But thinking it's just as easy as 123 on the first initial setup, think again. The picture was great quality. The speakers are decent, but I recommend extra Bluetooth speakers. It did get pretty hot by the end of the 1.5 hour movie though. Be sure to let it cool down before placing back in box for storage Outside of operator error, it's honestly was a great purchase. Easy to use once the set up is configured first. It's a great projector for the price I paid for it. The size is great to take on an over night trip. Fits anywhere practically. So not bulky or heavy. Overall it worked great.

    I am very impressed with the picture quality of such an inexpensive unit. Only used it a couple times. Don't know if I'll be able to set it up close to the screen because of limited space where it's going. I can't find the adjustment for keystone projection distortion. Sound is fair to poor but it pairs with bluetooth speakers easily. The lack of direct phone plug-in was a worry at first but I realized I'll be using a Roku.

    This projector would have been the best projector I could personally ever ask for if it wasnt for the fact that you cannot change the angle on it. Its small and nice but the way you focus the image is through the remote and theres no way of changing the angle of the image like most other projectors do. I wish it had auto angling but it sadly does not. Its also very loud which makes sense due to how small it is.

    To start, the supplied power supply cable is not good. It falls out, doesn't connect properly and is too loose. I had to buy a separate power supply cable to power the projector.
    The projector requires tilting to give a good viewing experience, and unfortunately this projector does not come with a stand of sorts to put it on an angle. As a work-around, I put a hand towel folded underneath to put it on an angle.
    The projector is very loud, as it heats up quickly and forces the internal fans to work overtime to cool it.
    It also takes a little while to turn on, and the picture/light is not very bright.

    All of those negatives aside, the capability this projector has is great. You can connect your speakers to it, and control the volume with the provided remote. The lens adjustment is decent. And the shut-down feature is very quick and responsive.
    For the price that I had paid, as much as I want to criticize the product, it did the job that I needed it to do. Perfect for a casual movie or binge-watching television at night with the lights off.
