Rockets at Cavaliers picks and predictions

Prediction

Cavaliers 122, Rockets 116

Moneyline

If you’re on the conservative side and you just can’t bring yourself to laying the points, the CAVALIERS (-160) are worth a look as moderate favorites.

As mentioned, Cleveland has yet to lose 3 in a row this season. However, the wheels have started to show some signs of falling off, losing 3 of the past 5 games, while going 3-5 SU across the past 8 games. Be careful.

Against the spread

The CAVALIERS -3.5 (-110) should be able to get the job done by 2 buckets at home. The last time the Cavs were in front of the home fans was MLK when they blasted the Phoenix Suns 118-92 as 7.5-point favorites. Be warned though: While they Cars are 11-1 straight up in their last 12 home games, they are 2-4 ATS in their past 6 at the FieldHouse.

Over/Under

OVER 228.5 (-110) might be the best play on the board.

Cleveland was just in action Friday at Philly, allowing a terrible, banged-up Sixers team score 132 points. The Cavs cashed Overs in 4 of their past 6 games, while, as mentioned, the Over is 8-4 across the previous 12 outings.

The Over is 5-0-1 in Houston’s last 6 road games, including 3-0 in the last 3.
