South Jersey saw a slight smattering of snow on Thursday, but more precipitation — and chillingly low temperatures — are on their way this weekend and into next week.
According to forecasts from the National Weather Service, areas of South Jersey can expect snow showers Sunday night. There’s a chance of 1-3 inches of accumulation.
Before that, scattered rain showers are expected to begin Saturday morning and continue into Sunday afternoon.

The weather service is also warning of “dangerously cold” conditions throughout much of next week. Temperatures have been predicted to remain below freezing and hit single digits.
Wind chills could make the cold feel even worse.

The Vineland area may feel apparent temperatures near -12 degrees Fahrenheit, while other parts of the region could feel temperatures around -8 F.
