Cooper Flagg, the likely overall number 1 pick in the NBA draft, has been as good as advertised in conference play, averaging 22.9 points, 7.3 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 1.4 steals, and 1 block per game. If that wasn’t impressive enough, he’s also shooting 59% from the floor and 50% from beyond the arc in the ACC play. To make defending Duke even harder, the Blue Devils also have 3 other players shooting better than 40% from beyond the arc in conference play. If the Deacs are going to somehow slow down this Duke team and hand them their first ACC loss, they are going to have play perfectly on the defensive end and find some much better shooting than we’ve seen over the past several games.
