Jordan Larson has resigned from her role as an assistant coach for the Nebraska volleyball team after two seasons, coach John Cook announced Monday.
Larson joined the staff when teams were allowed to add a third full-time assistant coach in June 2023. For two years, she balanced coaching while playing for the United States national team, including in the Olympics last summer.
Larson worked most closely with Nebraska’s outside hitters.
“Following the season, Jordan Larson informed me that she has decided to move on from being part of our coaching staff,” Cook said in a statement. “While I am disappointed we won’t have her on staff anymore, I am thankful to Jordan for all that she has done for our program over these past two seasons.”
More recently, Larson has helped get a new professional league in the U.S. started, and is playing for LOVB Omaha.
