Megan Fox ‘Can’t Wrap Her Head’ Around MGK Split Amid Pregnancy With Baby No. 1: ‘Betrayed’

It should’ve been one of the happiest times of Megan Fox’s life. Instead, the pregnant actress is nursing a broken heart after reportedly finding text messages from other women on Machine Gun Kelly’s phone over Thanksgiving.

“Megan’s devastated,” a source exclusively tells In Touch. “Yes, she’s the one who ended things, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t still love him. She does. She just can’t trust him.”

This isn’t the first time the couple has called it quits. Megan, 38, also broke off their engagement in 2023 amid rumors MGK, 34, cheated. “You can taste the dishonesty, it’s all over your breath,” she’d captioned a selfie before deleting all of the musician’s photos from her Instagram account at the time.

This time, the source tells In Touch, “Megan feels so betrayed. She can’t quite wrap her head around the idea that it’s really over, even though she says she knows it has to be.”

On November 11, days before Megan and MGK’s split, the Transformers actress announced she was pregnant and expecting her first child with the “Home” singer. Megan shared the news via Instagram alongside a photo of a positive pregnancy test and a portrait of herself cradling her growing belly while covered in black liquid.

“Nothing is ever really lost. welcome back,” the Jennifer’s Body star captioned the post.

Megan and MGK, whose real name is Colson Baker, share children from previous relationships. The Subservience actress and ex-husband Brian Austin Green share kids Noah, 12, Bodhi, 10 and Journey, 8. The rapper, for his part, shares daughter Casie, 15, with ex Emma Cannon.

MGK broke his silence on Megan’s pregnancy via X on November 24.

“Isolating myself in the desert next week to restart this album from scratch. When inspiration flows through me unblocked, we will reach the destination in no time. don’t worry,” he wrote. “After all, I’m about to be a dad again!”

Days later, a second insider told In Touch that MGK “cleaned up his act” after Megan briefly broke up with him.

“MGK had some pretty bad issues with partying to the point that it almost cost him his relationship with Megan,” the second source exclusively told In Touch at the time. “There was a point she did end things because he was just way too out of control and that’s not the sort of lifestyle she wants to live. When she broke up with him, it turned out to be a huge wakeup call.”

However, history repeated itself in December when TMZ reported that the Midnight in the Switchgrass costars split over Thanksgiving weekend in Vail, Colorado. Megan found alarming things on MGK’s cellphone, leading him to leave the trip early, the outlet reported at the time.

Neither Megan nor MGK have publicly addressed their split as of publication. That said, Brian, 51, reacted to his ex’s relationship update after a TMZ reporter broke the news to him.

“I didn’t even know. No. I had no idea,” he told the outlet in a video on December 12. “How old is he? Do you know? He’s in his 30s. Nice … In your 30s, like — I don’t know. Grow up. She’s pregnant.”

Additional sources gave updates on Megan and MGK’s breakup on December 17 – with the first insider sharing that the musician has to “work” to earn the starlet’s trust back.

“Megan really tried to make it work, but she doesn’t fully trust him and that’s something she can’t reconcile with,” the first insider exclusively told In Touch at the time. “Maybe he’ll change, the baby might be his wake-up call, but he has a lot of work to do to regain her trust.”

Meanwhile, the second source shared that this split may be locked in for good.

“Megan and MGK have a very tumultuous relationship, so they could always get back together,” insider No. 2 revealed. “But this may have been the final straw for her.”
