MSU football WR transfer Antonio Gates Jr. commits to Delaware State


Michigan State football lost wide receiver Antonio Gates Jr. to the transfer portal, when the former four star recruit decided to leave East Lansing after two years with the program.

Following the decision, Gates has found a new home, deciding to commit to Delaware State University, a member of the FCS’s MEAC.

In his two years in East Lansing, Gates played in 14 games, catching 9 passes for 131 yards and a touchdown. He will now be a part of a team coached by former NFL star wide receiver Desean Jackson.
