The All-Star game format has been once again changed for this year. Instead of the traditional one game either contested by two teams representing either the respective conferences or squads drafted by opposing superstars, it will be a three-game mini tournament.

The 24 All-Stars will be distributed into three teams selected by TNT “Inside the NBA” commentators Shaquille O’Neal, Kenny Smith and Charles Barkley. The fourth team will be the winning team from the Rising Stars challenge — which has featured a a similar three-game tournament for three years. TNT commentator and seven-time WNBA All-Star Candace Parker will serve as GM for the emerging Rising Stars team.

The NBA has officially announced the All-Star reserves for the upcoming game, and there are some exciting new additions to the lineup. One of the most notable selections is San Antonio Spurs sensation Victor Wembanyama, who will be making his first appearance on the All-Star team.

Wembanyama, a rising star in the league, has been turning heads with his impressive performances this season. Standing at an impressive 7 feet tall, the French center has been dominating the court with his shot-blocking abilities, rebounding prowess, and scoring prowess.

The 20-year-old phenom has quickly become a fan favorite, and his inclusion in the All-Star reserves is well-deserved. Wembanyama’s selection is a testament to his hard work and dedication to the game, and it is sure to be a memorable moment for him and Spurs fans alike.

With Wembanyama joining the All-Star team for the first time, fans can look forward to seeing him showcase his skills on the big stage and compete against the best players in the league. Congratulations to Victor Wembanyama on this incredible achievement, and best of luck in the All-Star game!
