On Monday, NC State head coach Dave Doeren announced Kurt Roper has been promoted to offensive coordinator, while former Wolfpack receiver and graduate assistant Gavin Locklear will coach the tight ends. Roper will continue to coach the quarterbacks. Doeren also announced Robert Anae has been relieved of his duties as offensive coordinator and tight ends coach after serving in the roles for the past two seasons.
The changes come less than 48 hours after State’s brutal bowl loss to ECU, which concluded disappointing 6-7 2024 season for the Pack.
