I had fairly low expectations for this projector, but I must say overall I was fairly impressed with the features and brightness. Although, one disappointment is that there is no way to adjust the angle of the projector… there are no adjustable feet on the case and while there is a small tripod included, there is no tilt. You will need to find a place to put this that is either at the required height, or find a way to prop it up. Aside from this, my experience was quite positive. If you do find a way to prop this up, it was fairly simple to do a keystone correction within the menu. You can also adjust the zoom which makes the placement of the projector a bit more forgiving. There is no brightness adjustment, so what you see if what you get… I did my initial testing on a white wall in the evening (about 8pm) when there was still a good amount of ambient light in the room even with all the shades closed. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the picture was still reasonably viewable and not all washed out.
The built in apps and Miracast capability are a huge bonus since you only need to worry about having a power source nearby. However, I still plan to use my external Fire TV since I am still concerned about app security on the devices from a brand I am not familiar with.
Like most projectors, the built in speakers are lacking and would only use them in a pinch. I connected via bluetooth to my soundbar which worked great, although I tend to get a slight audio delay and prefer a physical connection for audio.
Overall I am quite happy with this and will make a nice addition to the game room.
