The New York Jets have a new head coach.
Now they’ll need many more.
Aaron Glenn has been hired as the top man on the Jets’ sideline. In due time, he will start assembling his coaching staff.
Among those assistants, the top ones watched are the coordinators.
As it relates to the offense, Los Angeles Rams tight end coach and passing game coordinator Nick Caley is the name to watch.
According to KPRC2-TV, Caley is the leading candidate:

Because of Glenn’s defensive background, his most important hire this one.
Caley, 42, was a longtime New England Patriots assistant and interview for the Jets’ OC job in 2023.
Caley joined Sean McVay’s staff in Los Angeles as a tight ends coach in 2023 before he also being given the role of passing game coordinator.
Working n the coaching staffs of Bill Belichick and Sean McVay are pretty strong resume builders.
