JJ Watt, the legendary defensive end who recently announced his retirement from the NFL, shocked fans when he joked about coming out of retirement to play for the Cincinnati Bengals.
In a recent interview, Watt quipped, “I may have retired, but I’ve still got some gas left in the tank. Maybe I’ll come back and play for the Bengals next season. Who knows?”
While it’s unlikely that Watt will actually make a comeback to the gridiron, his playful banter has certainly stirred up some excitement among Bengals fans. Could you imagine Watt lining up alongside Joe Burrow and the rest of the Bengals defense? It would be a sight to see!
While we may never see JJ Watt donning a Bengals jersey, his sense of humor and love for the game continue to endear him to fans across the league. Who knows what the future holds for this future Hall of Famer? Only time will tell.
