The patched areas can be repaired with spackling compound later.If the light or the fan do not work, please make sure that the cables to the light and fan are properly connected. And this product only works with 120V.The deep corrugations of flexible ducting can easily flex into the opening and block the damper. Please use semi-rigid ducting, which is made of aluminum and has very shallow corrugations that allow you to flex it or stretch it.An insulated duct will help prevent condensation when the warm air from the bathroom meets the cold duct in the attic. To prevent the insulation from sliding down the duct, wrap the connections a few times with HVAC tape.If you’re replacing a fan, take note of the dimensions of the cutout for your existing fan so you can buy one that fits.
