She’ll take second chances for $400, please!
A Pennsylvania woman is getting another shot at “Jeopardy!” after losing her first go-around back in the fall.
PhillyVoice reports how Zoe Grobman — a therapist who hails from Philadelphia — made her debut on the game show together with returning champion, Eamonn Campbell, and University of Pennsylvania student Rishabh Wuppalapati, during the Oct. 15 episode. Wuppalapati claimed the victory.
However, the same PhillyVoice article states how Grobman will return to the show during the Second Chance Tournament. She will be competing against other former players who were unable to make it far in the show for a slot in the next Tournament of Champions.
“I’ve…been beating myself up about the $1,600 math clue I miffed,” wrote Grobman on the “Jeopardy!” subreddit following her loss. “I saw the multiplication sign but 9-16-25 is such a prominent Pythagorean Triple that my brain just went on autopilot.
“[Host] Ken [Jennings] did compliment my speed on the $2,000 clue though which definitely made me very proud.”
Grobman added: “Overall I’m about as proud of my performance as it is possible to be without winning. I pulled off a major turnaround in ‘Double Jeopardy’ with around a $10K swing against two very strong opponents, and I managed to be the returning champion. I’m proud of my ‘Jeopardy!’ Silver Medal!”
Here’s to getting the gold this time ‘round, Ms. Grobman.
You can catch her — and other past “Jeopardy!” contestants — during the Second Chance Tournament on weeknights at 7 p.m. on ABC from Monday, Dec. 30 through Friday, Jan. 10.
Exciting news for Pennsylvania native as she gets another chance to compete on the popular game show “Jeopardy!”
After previously appearing on the show and narrowly missing out on a win, this determined woman is back for another shot at the prize. With her extensive knowledge and quick thinking, she is sure to give the other contestants a run for their money.
Stay tuned to see if this Pennsylvania woman can emerge victorious on “Jeopardy!” and prove that persistence pays off. Good luck to her on her second chance at the game show! #Jeopardy #PennsylvaniaPride
