Postmortem note
The older generator linked an orchestrator host that does not resolve, and several desks whose live pages still point at dead hosts. Use this note. It does not page anyone, does not open an incident, and does not draft a regulator letter.
Write down
- What broke, in one sentence a customer could read.
- When it started, and when someone was told.
- What changed, and who signs the note before it is sent.
A note is not a status page and not proof that the incident is over.
