• The Boston Bruins look to bounce back from their ugly loss on Tuesday as the Winnipeg Jets roll into town.
• The Bruins lost in glorious fashion on Tuesday, 7-2, to the Buffalo Sabres with two hat tricks scored against them. “There was one period and then after that you probably want to toss it in the garbage,” Interim head coach Joe Sacco said after yesterday’s practice.
• And last time the Bruins saw the Jets? They lost 8-1 on Dec. 10, 2024.
• Head-to-head, the Jet have the best power play in the league at 32.6% while the Bruins have inched up to 13.8%. The Jets also have the best goals for average at 3.54 and have allowed the second fewest goals at a 2.40 average.
• The Jets are on a four-game winning streak. They last played on Tuesday, beating the Montreal Canadiens, 4-1. In those four games, they have outscored their opponents 17 to 7.
