And *** good Saturday to you. Upper 40s to near 50 degrees with cloudy skies to start off this Saturday morning, but, uh, the rain chances will be on the increase, especially in the midday hours, uh, from late morning, midday, early afternoon. That’s when we’ll have our, uh, best rain chances probably, uh, should at least see some rain in the river valley, about *** 60% chance of rain in the river valley. And about 30 to 40% chance in northwest Arkansas as we’re kind of on the northern edge of *** rather uh strong storm system moving through the south that’s gonna bring some severe weather as far north as southern Arkansas, Louisiana, and Mississippi may see some tornadoes today, but as for us, mainly just gonna be seeing some rain, maybe *** little bit of thunder, especially to the south of Fort Smith, and the temperatures are gonna be on the mild side, upper 50s and near 60 degrees this afternoon. And then towards the end of the day and this evening, the rain begins to move off to the east still may see *** few lingering showers, especially to the east of Fort Smith this evening, but, uh, late tonight, uh, the rain begins to move off to the east of all of the area and uh drier conditions come in for Sunday. I start off into the mid to upper 40s Sunday afternoon, and then, uh, should see *** little bit better sunshine, especially in the river valley tomorrow may see some lingering cloud cover, especially for the first part of the day. On Sunday in northwest Arkansas, but these mild temperatures are gonna be continuing. We’ll be into the 60s tomorrow afternoon, at least, uh, near 60 to mid-60s in the river valley near 60 in northwest Arkansas. Monday looks to be the warmest day of this upcoming week before it turns colder, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. William Morrison has more on that in your 7 day forecast. That is on your 4029 news and on the CW this evening. Have yourself *** good Saturday.
