Reese Witherspoon’s High-Slit Skirt Suit Embraced the Office Siren Trend on the Red Carpet

Reese Witherspoon may not have an office she reports to everyday, but that’s not stopping her from making waves outside the workplace. With the red carpet acting as her place of business, the actress decided to put a sultry spin on classic corporate attire while attending the U.K. premiere of her new movie You’re Cordially Invited on Thursday. 

For the occasion, Witherspoon embraced the office siren trend, opting for a black sultry skirt suit that consisted of a cropped blazer layered over a scalloped-trim top and a skintight pencil skirt with a thigh-high slit. She completed her corpcore outfit with pointy-toe black pumps and dangly diamond earrings. 

As for glam, Witherspoon styled her blonde hair straight and slicked behind her ears with a sweeping side part. She added dark smoky eye makeup and a swipe of pink lipgloss that complemented her dewy skin.

Witherspoon stars alongside Will Ferrell in the upcoming wedding comedy You’re Cordially Invited, in which the two stars clash over a double-booked wedding venue. “When two weddings are accidentally booked on the same day at the same venue, each bridal party is challenged with preserving their family’s special moment while making the most of the unanticipated tight quarters,” read an official synopsis for the film, per People. 

“In a hilarious battle of determination and grit, the father of the bride (Ferrell) and sister of the other bride (Witherspoon) chaotically go head-to-head as they stop at nothing to uphold an unforgettable celebration for their loved ones.”

You’re Cordially Invited begins streaming on Prime Video Jan. 30.
