Robyn Glaser is still with the Patriots
On Thursday’s edition of Zolak & Bertrand, Albert Breer of SI and MMQB refuted reports on social media that Executive VP of Football Operations, Robyn Glaser, was no longer with the Patriots organization.
That’s not right…
Marc Bertrand:
Is Robyn Glaser on the way out? Could she be on the way out? Is this happening in Foxborough?
Albert Breer:
Well, she’s still there. I mean, I know that. So, that’s wrong.
Scott Zolak:
What’s wrong?
Albert Breer:
The tweet, right?
Marc Bertrand:
It said no longer with the Patriots organization.
Albert Breer:
I mean that’s not right. Do I know what’s going to happen over the next three or four months? I don’t. She’s definitely been an issue for people there. I don’t know that her being gone would fix anything. It’s just as far as like the root of the problem. She hasn’t been working that intimately in football over the last few months, so… what’s there is wrong.
Marc Bertrand:
She’s been there a long time though.
Scott Zolak:
She’s been there over 17 years at different levels upstairs.
Marc Bertrand:
Is the hammer no more in Foxborough? You say she’s there right now. Still there, but here’s what I would say if it’s not Robyn Glaser. Who is it? It’ll be somebody else. Don’t think it’s going to end. The ownership interference won’t just end with Robyn Glaser doing a different job, leaving the organization, whatever it might be. It has to be somebody else.
Albert Breer:
It has to be a conscious decision by ownership to step back. That’s what it has to be.
