Royce Reed Claims Dwight Howard Was Intimate With Men “All The Time”

Dwight Howard and his ex-girlfriend, Royce Reed, have spent many years not seeing eye-to-eye in the public light. Now, Reed has added another layer to their tumultuous relationship while recently speaking on his sexual preferences with Cam Newton.

During an appearance on Newton’s Funky Fridays show (Jan. 24), the former Basketball Wives star claimed she had personally witnessed Howard engaging in intimate encounters with men “all the time.” She further alleged that the NBA icon frequently used psychedelic mushrooms before sexual encounters with men, in which she claimed she didn’t partake.

Her statements have reignited speculations surrounding Howard’s sexual orientation—a topic that has been the subject of discussion for years.

“Have you ever witnessed him being with another man in the bed?” Newton bluntly asked Reed at the 01:29:10 mark of the interview. “Yeah. All the time,” she quickly responded. “They took mushrooms together and then they were like in the bed moaning and touching themselves … but they say that’s an effect of taking mushrooms. I didn’t take them. I pretended to but I didn’t. I spit them right out.”

Reed explained that she had witnessed many of his sexual encounters with men during days-long “parties” he would throw in his home during quarantine. She also admitted that his children—including her son—would be present in the home, but “upstairs in their rooms with the nanny.”

Newton then put Reed in the hot seat, questioning her motherhood. “You were a part of that, too…” he quipped. In response, the 44-year-old explained, “Yes. It was quarantine. Everybody was chillin’ outside in their own yard. Everybody was probably puffin’. That was not a problem.” Newton interrupted her, adding, “I don’t think that was the problem. Yeah, substance is cool—you do whatever floats your boat, but keep the kids out of it.”

Further detailing how the sexual encounters would take place with the kids in the house, Reed explained, “When this would happen, it was like, late. So they [the children] were done for the night.” She also alleged that polygamist influencer Kevin Wesley was present at the “party” one night.
