Ryan Seacrest is open to love in 2025.
Seacrest, 50, joined Good Morning America on Monday, Dec. 30, to discuss his 20 years hosting Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest and reflect on memorable moments during the big celebration — one of which he teased could happen to him in the future.
He noted that “there’s always a little bit of chaos” behind the scenes, from unpredictable weather to performances not going according to schedule, “You never know, but that’s the beauty of the show.”
In the midst of the chaos are always acts of love, journalist Rebecca Jarvis pointed out.

“And then you have people proposing in Times Square literally, like, ‘Let’s get married,’” she said.
Approximately 1 million people pack themselves into Times Square on New Year’s Eve every year. Seacrest agreed that among the hundreds of thousands of people are a handful of proposals.
“Yes, that’s something that’s happened almost every single year,” he replied. “Some of it makes TV, some of it doesn’t, but people love that moment to say, ‘Will you be with me for the rest of our lives?’”
ABC correspondent Will Reeve, who proposed to longtime girlfriend Amanda Dubin in New York City in November, joked that he should have waited for the ball drop — but “Amanda would have said no.”

“There’s still time for me,” Seacrest teased about a potential New Year’s Eve proposal.
“You’ve got this, Ryan,” said Reeve, patting him on the back. “We won’t rush you, though.”

Seacrest has been publicly single since his split from model Aubrey Paige in April. The former couple dated for three years before calling it quits.
“After three beautiful years together, Ryan and Aubrey have mutually decided to part ways,” a source close to the couple told PEOPLE at the time. “They plan to stay in each other’s lives as good friends and support one another’s endeavors.”
As a result, the Wheel of Fortune cohost concluded on GMA, “Yeah, please. I’m taking my time. Happy New Year!”
“Happy New Year, Ryan. May it be filled with love!” Jarvis concluded.
Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest will air on ABC starting at 8 p.m. ET on Tuesday, Dec. 31, streaming the next day on Hulu.
Ryan Seacrest recently made headlines when he revealed that he is not rushing to get engaged, despite the pressure he feels from his friends and family. In a candid interview, the TV host and producer shared that he is in no hurry to settle down and is content with where he is in his life.
Seacrest, who is known for his work on shows like American Idol and Live with Kelly and Ryan, opened up about his thoughts on marriage during a recent appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. When asked about his relationship status and whether he was considering popping the question on New Year’s Eve, Seacrest replied, “There’s still time for me.”
The 46-year-old media personality went on to explain that he is focused on his career and enjoying his life as it is. While he didn’t rule out the possibility of getting engaged in the future, he made it clear that he is not in a rush to take that next step.
Seacrest’s comments sparked a mix of reactions from fans, with some applauding his decision to take his time and others expressing surprise that he has yet to settle down. Regardless of where he stands on the topic of marriage, one thing is for sure: Ryan Seacrest is in no rush to tie the knot anytime soon.
