We upgraded from a 12 year old TV that was unable to display newer video (such as 4K).
Installation was easy – put on the hangers (which I already had), plugged in the HDMI cord and power, and we had signal from our devices to the TV. The TV display is *excellent*.
But the setup was so _difficult_ to understand. NOTHING IS EXPLAINED and there's no user guide that tells you what all the options mean. And it doesn't know what to do with attached peripherals such as my Amazon Fire TV stick – you have to go through several steps, every time, to make them work on the TV. My older Samsung did this just fine.
The controller is not very good, either. Nothing is marked well – it's all black plastic. It's cool looking, eh? But in a darkened room to watch the TV, NONE OF THE CONTROLS can be read or understood. You have to turn on a light to read them.
The Amazon Firestick controller is MUCH MUCH better.
I wish I could grade this a bit lower, but "3" is just too low. It's definitely not a "5", though.
