See Georgia behind bars in first look at ‘Ginny & Georgia’ season 3

Is it finally time for Georgia (Brianne Howey) to pay for her actions?

Things are not looking good for the mother of two — and sometimes killer of men — in the newly released first-look photos for Ginny & Georgia’s third season. Not only is Georgia behind bars, but her kids can be seen sitting in what looks to be a courtroom, so could she possibly face a trial for killing Cynthia’s (Sabrina Grdevich) husband?

Fans will remember that the season 2 finale ended with Georgia being driven away from her wedding reception in a cop car for the choice she’d made earlier in the season. As Howey previously told Entertainment Weekly, “I think it’s perfect. She finally lets her guard down and thinks, ‘I am truly happy, this is all working,’ and of course the other shoe drops.”

Moments after marrying Paul (Scott Porter) and finally choosing a good guy for once, her life goes up in flames. “Georgia’s life is constantly brought back down to reality,” Howey said. “And that’s why Georgia is the way she is and has the outlook that she has. She knew it was too good to be true, but she wanted to believe in this fantasy.”

It’s safe to say that the fantasy is shattered at this point, but Georgia has gotten herself out of more than one tricky situation in her life, so hopefully her time behind bars is short-lived.

Perhaps more importantly, Netflix announced that the third season will premiere on June 5, which means we’ll have to wait a few more months before we find out her fate … and if she’s secretly in love with Joe (Raymond Ablack).
