Seth Rollins memorably wore MSCHF boots on an episode of WWE RAW in 2023. The big red boots sparked a lot of buzz.
CM Punk recently appeared on Sneaker Shopping with Complex’s Joe La Puma, and he was asked to comment on how he felt about Rollins’ MSCHF boots.
“Completely ignorant and stupid,” he said. “I don’t know why anyone would, outside of, being in a movie or a television show, wear those in real life. But again, I’m not trying to gate-keep shoes or anything like that. It seems a little too ‘notice me’ for me.”
CM Punk recently defeated Seth Rollins at the WWE RAW on Netflix premiere. He is set to compete in the Men’s Royal Rumble match.

At the Raw on Netflix post-show, Punk was asked whether he had gained a newfound respect for Rollins after their match. He responded by commenting on Rollins’ ability.
“I’m not gonna disparage Seth (Rollins)—at least not his ability,” he said. “Maybe the way he dresses. Honestly, I don’t think he needs to do all that. I think Seth Rollins is a killer. But when he dresses that way and acts a certain way, I don’t think he’s a killer. So, I can honestly say maybe I don’t take him as seriously as he wants me to take him,” CM Punk said.
“The Seth Rollins I faced tonight, the one that was face-to-face with me last week—that’s Seth Rollins to me. Not the Purple Pieman from Porcupine Peak. It’s funny, but I will bring the best out of you if you step into the ring with me. If you hold the microphone against me, I will 100% make people say, ‘Where was that person this entire time? Where was that Drew McIntyre? Where was that Seth Rollins?’ It’s rare air when I step into the ring, and if you don’t step up, you get stepped right on out.”
