Several inches of snow expected to fall in New Jersey on Sunday
Today will be mild with scattered showers as a warm front moves toward the area. Showers will be scattered throughout the day.
Sunday will feature low pressure developing along the Virginia coast. This storm will move up and off our coast during the day and evening. Snow and a mix to the South will develop toward midday. The snow will become moderate to heavy at times during the afternoon and evening over Northern areas. To the South a mix is likely. The potential accumulations of 4-8 inches is expected for Northern areas with lighter amounts to the South. The precipitation will taper off by late evening.
An Arctic blast will greet us for the beginning and middle portion of the week.
