Grab a Helmet
1) Bijan Robinson vs. Carolina
Not only should Bijan Robinson play well, I think he leads all
running backs in Week 18. Hes averaged 22 touches per game with
Penix under center and against the leagues worst run defense
(29.5 FPts/G allowed), he should be a workhorse. With Saquon Barkley
sitting and Jahmyr Gibbs against the tough Vikings, Robinson should
only have to outduel Derrick Henry for Week 18 best honors.
2) Michael Carter vs. San Francisco
James Conner (knee) and Trey Benson (ankle) could both sit in
Week 18 with nothing to play for leaving Michael Carter a viable
low-end option against the 49ers. Carter saw 15 touches in a low-scoring
Week 17 matchup with the Rams, but the eliminated 49ers rank 28th
in RB fantasy points allowed. Hes worth a flier here.
3) Bucky Irving vs. New Orleans
Irving ranks 20th among running backs for the season, but since
Week 13 hes improved to 11th averaging 17 FPts/G. The Saints
have allowed a league-high 17 rushing touchdowns this season to
running backs and when the Bucs arent feeding Mike Evans,
they will be handing the ball to Irving.
Grab some Pine
1) Aaron Jones @ Detroit
The Lions run defense has been top-five this season, a misleading
statistic because their pass defense has been so bad of late that
sometimes teams forget to run the ball. That could be the case
here too. The Lions are allowing almost 315 passing yards per
game over the last five games and with a majority of the Minnesota
talent wrapped up in pass catchers Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison,
Jalen Nailor and T.J. Hockenson, they might forget about Jones.
2) Tony Pollard vs. Houston
Pollard wont be 100% (ankle/flu), but could return here while
his teammate Tyjae Spears will likely miss this one with a concussion.
The Texans are top-10 against opposing running backs. If neither
can start, Julius Chestnut and Joshua Kelley also are not viable
options.
3) DOnta
Foreman / Jerome
Ford @ Baltimore
Jerome Ford was a non-participant in a walkthrough on Tuesday
and has one less day to get ready for a Saturday matchup in Baltimore.
That would make D’onta Foreman the de facto starter. He
hasn’t produced double digits this season and wouldn’t
start here against a top-10 run defense.

Week 18 of the NFL season is here and it’s time to take a look at the top running backs to target in fantasy football. Whether you’re in the playoffs or fighting for a spot, these players could make a big impact on your team’s success. Here are the top running backs to target in Week 18:
1. Jonathan Taylor, Indianapolis Colts – Taylor has been a fantasy stud all season and should continue to produce in Week 18 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Jaguars have struggled against the run this season, making Taylor a must-start option.
2. Joe Mixon, Cincinnati Bengals – Mixon has been on fire lately and faces a favorable matchup against the Cleveland Browns in Week 18. With the Bengals fighting for a playoff spot, Mixon should see plenty of touches and opportunities to score.
3. Najee Harris, Pittsburgh Steelers – Harris has been a workhorse for the Steelers all season and should continue to see a heavy workload in Week 18 against the Baltimore Ravens. Look for Harris to put up solid numbers in this crucial matchup.
4. Sony Michel, Los Angeles Rams – With Darrell Henderson Jr. dealing with a knee injury, Michel should see an increased role in the Rams’ offense in Week 18 against the San Francisco 49ers. Michel has shown he can handle a heavy workload and could be a valuable asset in fantasy lineups.
5. Leonard Fournette, Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Fournette has been a consistent fantasy producer all season and faces a favorable matchup against the Carolina Panthers in Week 18. Look for Fournette to continue to see plenty of touches and opportunities to score in this important game for the Buccaneers.
Keep an eye on these running backs as you set your lineup for Week 18 and good luck in your fantasy matchups!
