Maine native Cooper Flagg continues to shine during his freshman season at Duke University.Flagg, 18, currently leads Duke with averages of 19.2 points, 8.1 rebounds, 4.1 assists, 1.6 steals and 1.2 blocks per game.The Blue Devils are currently ranked No. 2 in the country, and Flagg’s stellar play has caught the attention of NBA Commissioner Adam Silver, a Duke alumnus.Silver was asked about Flagg potentially being one of the next faces of the NBA while he was in France for the league’s Paris Games.”The last person I want to put pressure on is Cooper Flagg, but he looks pretty spectacular so far,” Silver said.The NBA has seen a rise in star international players, including Nikola Jokic, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Joel Embiid, Luka Doncic and Victor Wembanyama.
